HjemTek accepts the following online payment methods:
- Visa

Payment transaction
The payment will only be deducted from your account when the physical item has been shipped. No card fees are charged.
Prices and currencies
All amounts on the website include VAT. The website uses the following currencies for pricing:
- Denmark: Danish kroner (DKK)
- Sweden: Swedish kroner (SEK)
- Germany: Euro (EUR)
Secure payment
HjemTek uses secure payment servers via Billwerk and Shopify Payments. These services encrypt all information using SSL protocol, which ensures that your data is protected and cannot be read by unauthorized persons. HjemTek's own website also uses SSL protocol for encryption.
Use of international payment cards
If you pay with an international payment card, the amount will be reserved immediately. The money is reserved on your card or account until one of the following situations occurs:
- The amount is deducted when the item is shipped.
- The money is released in accordance with the agreement with your card issuer.

Delivery conditions
Order handling
All orders are processed within 2 business days. If you have not received a tracking number within 2 working days of ordering, we encourage you to contact our customer service.
Delivery times
- Denmark (excl. non-bridge fixed islands): Delivery time is 1-3 working days from dispatch.
- Non-bridge fixed islands in Denmark: Delivery time can be 1-5 working days.
- Sweden: Delivery time is 2-5 working days.
- Germany: Delivery time is 2-5 working days.
- Ordered goods: Delivery time can vary between 4 and 30 days. Please contact customer service for further information.

Change of Shipping Method
In certain cases, HjemTek may be forced to change the selected shipping method. This can happen for the following reasons:
- Error: If an error occurs in our system or with the freight provider.
- Delivery problems: If unforeseen problems arise with the delivery that require an alternative solution.
- Product-specific delivery method: If a product requires a special delivery method that was not known at the time of ordering.
- Optimizing Delivery: To ensure that your order is delivered on time and in the most efficient manner.
We reserve the right to make such changes to ensure timely and safe delivery of your goods. If it becomes relevant to change the shipping method, you will always be informed of this.

Depending on the product, it will be possible to choose one or more shipping methods when ordering. Shipping costs are calculated based on the applicable shipping provider. There is free delivery for purchases over DKK 499, but this does not apply to deliveries to Germany and Sweden.
Tracking
You will always receive a track and trace number so you can follow your package from our warehouse to your home. Please note that packages may be sent directly from our business partners, which may mean that deliveries are sent from Germany or Sweden. Regardless of whether you receive one or more packages, you only pay the shipping indicated at checkout. You will receive track and trace information for all your packages.
Right of withdrawal and return
Right of withdrawal
There is a 14-day right of withdrawal for goods purchased on the website. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day the customer has received the item. If several different items have been ordered in one order, but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day the last item is received.
In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, notification of the decision to cancel the purchase must be given. It is not sufficient to refuse to receive the goods without giving notice at the same time. After the cancellation notice has been given, there is a further 14 days to return the item.
Exchange
If you wish to exchange your item, you can exchange it for a gift card or other item for up to 3 months. However, this requires that the item is in such a condition that it can be sold. Otherwise, the deterioration will be set off.
Return costs and risk
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer must bear the costs of returning the goods themselves. The customer bears the risk for the goods from the time of the goods' delivery and during the return, including any damage that occurs during transport.
Return shipments
Return instructions
- Go to our return portal: HjemTek Returportal
- Enter the order number and your e-mail. Remember to write # in front of your order number.
- Select the item you wish to return, as well as the quantity and reason. If necessary, write an in-depth comment.
- Choose whether you want your item exchanged or whether you want the money back.
- Select return method. Accept the trade conditions from Shipmondo and HjemTek's return policy.
- Print a package label or show the QR code when you hand in the package to a GLS package shop.
Once we have received the package, we process your return or complaint.
Once the return item has been received and inspected, the purchase amount will be refunded. If the refund has not been received within 7 days of receiving the returned item, customer service should be contacted.
Please note that no refunds will be given for items damaged as a result of self-inflicted damage. It is not possible to return goods by yourself
