Recaro Salia is suitable for children aged newborn-4 years (0-18 kg | 40-105 cm).
The extra flexible child seat for newborns is designed to ensure that your child is perfectly positioned in the car seat, as comfortably as possible. The height-adjustable headrest with integrated harness promotes correct posture, and the harness guide increases safety.
The Salia car seat is mounted facing backwards when the child is 40-105 cm and can later be rotated 180 o for forward-facing position when the child is 76-105 cm. Salia can be installed easily and safely with the base's Isofix connector.

When the child gets bigger (over 15 months and 76 cm), the child seat can be turned for forward-facing transport. For additional stability, the chair is equipped with an adjustable support leg.

ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club eV) is Germany's and Europe's largest interest association within the automotive industry with around 17 million members. ADAC annually organizes tests of car seats, where the selection of the car seats included in the test is confidential until the tests are published.
The test carried out by ADAC is called "extreme test" and consists of frontal and side impact tests. In addition to the safety test, ADAC also tests usability, comfort, quality and more, which can be of a more subjective nature and a challenge to check and compare, although these are also important aspects in choosing a car seat.
